What AuDHD is
Two neurotypes, one brain
AuDHD is shorthand for having both ADHD and autism—two distinct neurotypes that can show up together and interact with each other. It’s not one condition, and it’s not a mild version of either one on its own.
On this site, “AuDHD” means exactly that combination, drawn from lived experience rather than clinical theory. Everything here assumes a brain that doesn’t run on standard-issue focus, energy, or social bandwidth, and builds around that instead of trying to correct it.
